The only time that my blueys are together is in their outdoor pit. It's 8ft by 8ft with lots of hides and space to get away from each other. Even then I only put together skinks of the same type and ones I know get along. Frankie goes out by herself because she doesn't like anyone!

I dont think an entire 12x12 room could stop Trikks from going after Pryce or Wocket. Needless to say, he will not be visiting. Also, some types, like blotched and shingles, seem better to keep in a group than others. I'd recommend just not keeping the skinks together. Why use one large tank where they may attack each other, when instead you can have 2 or 3 normal tanks where they're safe?

im a believer of it depends on the species to be housed together, northerns are a definate no no,aggressive buggers,im in australia so dont keep any non aussie species, never had issues with housing blotcheds and stumpies together with there own species, easterns never really any serious issues, inside or out,but the easterns the odd one here and there was a little aggressive,my centralians get along great, westerns i can see possable aggression so will see when they mature, bit like whats been said, even massive cages wont stop it,if there going to be aggressive they will be,larger just gives them a little more of a chance of getting away and its cheaper in the long run to house singly in lots of smaller cages than together in a really large cage,as the bigger the cage, the harder to heat it correctly
