Here is me and 2 of my co-workers at a charity thing for siskin we sing so we went to sing for a benefit i am on the far left. I am a singing server at the chattanooga choo choo. dream job huh? ( i am so tired of waitressing)

Hey guys! I just wanted to post an O.T. subject so I'm popping in here in the middle of whatever is going on at the moment.

After scanning you tube for bluey's, I found this URL of a pet frilled neck lizard

Does anyone know anything about these lizards? They look neat but I bet those teeth could tear you up! :shock:

mom22wins. I hear they can be vicious. I talked to a pet store owner who had one in atlanta and she said they make terrible pets but of course she may have had the exception. I also watched a show on them on discovery I cant remember alot about it just the idea that they were mean.

russman, I am like the karaoke queen. noone has more cds than me. I won a karaoke contest in the female country division, it was televised I got a trophy and 500 dollars. I am known for my yodeling at the stationhouse although at home I like to do evanessance. wide range i know. people tell me I sound like alison krauss and i find that a huge compliment cause shes my fav.

I am always scared to try out but a guy from my work made it to the 3rd round he got to go in front of simon and randy they said not good enough randy said he sounded funny but he is extremely good.

I have thought of trying out for American Idol. I missed the tryouts in Pittsburgh by like 2 hours. I did a lot of solo/coffeeshop type stuff in college. I love to tinker on the guitar, and I had a band for a little while.

That's awesome about the big Karaoke win though!

I've seen some very nice frills, but they'd been well handled. They actually seem very intelligent, almost as much as a bluey. I'd like to get one in the future as a baby and see how it turns out. The pet store ones however seem to be rather vicious, and one I saw actually tries to attack people, lunging at them through the glass.

The frilled nech lizard reminds me of those creatures in the movie Gremlins. :shock:

Frilleds are popular here, for obvious reasons.
I think some people keep them as an ornamental animal rather than a pet because if they're too tame then they won't do the frill thing and you've basically got a beardie with a fat neck!

They do 'tame' down well but, and if you come across one in the wild they're pretty inquisitive and will stand their ground. You really gotta freak em out to get them to run or display.

Phantom, it's a site like mySpace that's become amazingly popular around here. I use it for keeping up with family. There's lots of stories of people hooking up with long lost friends or relatives. It has lots of optional features you can be invited to do. However, when you sign up, I suggest disabling the e-mail option, otherwise you're inbox is loaded with FaceBook things telling you so-and-so wrote on your wall or so-and-so is your friend.

I don't use any of those social networking sites, except LinkedIn, but one interesting* note about Facebook is that they made an API publicly available to developers. Now anybody can freely develop applications to integrate with Facebook, meaning lots of companies are jumping on the social networking bandwagon. A dude at work is tasked with a Facebook app, and all our sites are just local media sites aggregating newspaper content, which doesn't really lend itself to social networking ONE MIGHT THINK...but it's so easy, so why not? So thumbs up, Facebook. Kick MySpace's butt, because MySpace sucks. :twisted:

I use facebook, because I'm a college student. Considering I don't drink or smoke, I have no incriminating photos for future employers to see.
