Snail traps

So i was looking for snails for Homer the other day where i all ways find them. But we have not gotten much rain lately so not very many snail's is there a way to trap snails? with out pesticides of Coors lol

Ok cool but is there a kind of non dedly snail trap i can use?

My vet told me to just put some old takeway containers upside down under a shaded, dark area of your garden with some lettuce in them and the snails would come.

But they didn't, same as you we don't get rain. And the possums ate the lettuce. Probably was worth more than just the one shot I gave it, but the main thing with snails is they like cool, damp places like under shrubs and up against shaded brick walls and fences.

You can try to plant some 'snail friendly' plants like agapanthus and other broad leaf plants, or a veggie garden.

Not sure if it's toxic to blueys, but over here an animal friendly way of trapping snails is by putting out saucers of beer. Snails drink beer, get drunk, drown in beer.

But, at the end of the day, if you don't get the rain, you don't get the snails.

Apparently garden snails are of neither sex, they turn into what they need to in order to makum babies. With that in mind, I'm considering purchasing a big batch and letting them do their thang.
