Postby Shadowfax » Sat Oct 20, 2007 11:52 am

Poor Maya FINALLY got his tank refreshed and a little rearranging occurred. He seemed quite intrigued by his new world order!

Maya's such a stunner, I loved the last shots you posted and said so but it went AWOL.

We don't do gallons here
Is it 4 or 5 or 6 foot long, and how wide? Looks huge!
(We also do metres, inches and acres if that helps, although I don't think it's thaaat big!)

Oh, and can I have a 'bit off the tail' shot? Y'know, just so's I can see what I'm missing out on?!! Me hungy :hehe:

I'm pretty sure a 55 gallon is 4ft long and 1 foot wide.

4 foot long sounds about right. Maya's 21.5 inches and takes up about 1/2 the tank when he stretches out. We do metres here at work too, don't worry. 4 feet is 1.2 metres.

Leigh, it does stay pretty well. Maya just mashes up all the leaves because he climbs around like a little uncoordiated monkey in all the plants, but other than that, it stays pretty much the same.

Lisa, I'll have to work on that shot! ;-)

I love flowers in the tanks. Not only does it make it look pretty but I think it stimulates the blueys.

I still think LittleFoot doesn't appretiate all the pretty flowers in his tank...he spends more time attacking them and thowing this huge red one in his water dish...i think he is trying to drown it.
