Finally! I finished one of my numerous Articles: Northern ID
Hi everyone,
I've been working on and off on this article for a few years. LOL but its finally done.
I hope it this really helps. I have several key photos and history; morphological markers to hybrids.
I'm now returning to my work with hybrids and Irian Jayas.
I still need a lot more IJ pictures. Please please send them to me. For the handful of people who have sent them - THANK YOU! You're really helping me out on my research.
The larger the file the better. I need top down photos, profiles and side shots of the complete body. If you can send underneath shots that's great too. I'm doing some serious work on these guys and it may take six months to a year before I put out something else.
Please write some feed back here on my newest article.
lastly: If anyone wants to chat serious reptile / tiliqua talk email me any time and we'll arrange something!
Best regards,
Andrew

Thanks a lot for the comments.
Here is an example of some hybrid skinks that's offered from Europe. The thing is this guy is calling it INTERMEDIA as if these guys are new bloodlines "untainted" by the US market. This is the kind of thing that infuriates me. Look at these skinks guys and remember it. If anything SAVE those pictures and put it in the hybrid or possible hybrid folder.

This is the reason why I try to avoid irian jayas with any black striping after the inital black patch on the neck.
I just don't know if its a pure IJ or a hybrid at this point but my research shows that the examples of hybrid northernxij look this way. There is no promise that any Irian Jaya bought and sold in the late 1990s and 2000s can't be hybrid Northern and Ij stock especially if it has a northern look. Someone really needs to get out there to do some research but Irian Jaya and PNG are pretty scary / dangerous places to visit.
I'd actually like to go out there now. James convinced me a month ago that I should go out there to do research. I'd really like to do it. If anyone here has any idea how I may do this without a lot of funds let me know. =)

That seller is the one that imports all the pink tongue skinks from germany. My understanding after my experience trying to buy pink tongue skinks this year is that effectively 99% of the pink tongue skinks on the market originate in the United States from his supplier in Germany.

I sent a friendly e-mail. I suggested he advertise them as hybrids but point out that they still make good pets, and that he should talk to his supplier about what he's been sold. I made sure to try and sound friendly ^.^
