How much would you pay for a Kei?

Ok, I have found a kei for sale taht is supposed to be CB from Jody Pieper of Jungle Shadows. It is about 1.5yrs old. Supposedly in perfect condition with the exception of about 2 inches of its tail missing (from cluchmate biting it off when young).

I am not really sure what the going price for Keis are since I never see them available. So I was wondering, basically how much you guys think this skink is worth.

Do you have pictures? What proof does she have that he's captive born? Have you seen pictures of the parents? I bought Baylee from Greg for abou 80 but that was because he lowered the price for the winter and for forum members. Baylee is captive born. I purchased Cordy for around $200. She is a long term captive. What is she selling her's for?

I was thinking of buying one for $250, but ended up not getting it. I would ensure that its CB before purchase though. No fun dealing with a wild caught.

Yeah here is the ad. I thought the pictures looked familiar and found an ad several months ago. The person had this one that I am probably going to purchase and they also had KeiKei that I believe Dragontears purchased (I could be wrong about that though).

Im not too worried about it being CB or WC as I feel I have plenty of reptile experience to deal with either one.

Forgot to mention, it was going for $250 shipped, which we agreed on $225shipped.

well i decided to purchase the Kei. I have always wanted one and I just couldnt pass it up. So he is currently on his way and should get him by 10.30 tomorrow. I cant wait!

I completely understand what you are saying. That one is amazing. I personally love the kei in the picture that I believe belongs to Sheera (atleast that is whos name is on the kei page).

I paid $225 shipped for this one, which I dont feel is horrible for any bluey really.

I believe that kei is Sprout. Sheera came up to visit...maybe she took the picture or Sprout is climbing on her, but the skink is mine.

Yep, that's Sprout -- Sheera took the photo. And you didn't pay a bad price at all. :cool:

not really...I havent seen anything to put Kei Kei in the boy category, so I'm still holding out hope that she's a girl.
