red rugosus, asper, konowi, multifasciata, nigrolutea.......

Postby Kin » Sat Dec 15, 2007 9:11 am

Hello, just want to share some of my collection with you guys.
These pics were taken a while ago.
My skinks are all now in brumation.
Hopefully they will produce some babies for me next year.......

Red T.r.rugosus from Kalgoorlie/Coolgardie area. Extremely rare in the market. I think they are the most difficult to obtain among all the Shinglebacks. My top favourite BTS.

Here are 2.1 (the white male should be located somewhere between Perth and Kalgoorlie/Coolgardie area)

Another fat super colorful female

A very valuable birthday gift from Pipa (Thank you my friend ! )
Although she is not that colorful, she is also originated from Kalgoorie/Coolgardie area. According to Pipa's information, the most important point is she accepted every males in the past (which is a rare phenomenon in Shinglebacks). I believe she should be able to produce some real red babies if breed her with a red male from the same area.

Asper from Broken Hill area

Multifasciata......always nervous.......

Thanks for looking.
Will post more pics later............

Nice collection. I am very envious.

What is the substrate that you use? It looks like sani-chips aspen bedding and alfalfa pellets mixed together. It looks nice.
