I would remove the food dishes and only put them in at feeding time. Many folks feed out of the viv to keep things cleaner. The drift wood is pretty but again I would worry about tipping and it's over the water dish. One good splash down and the whole viv will be wet. Then you will have to take everything out and dry it. Also looks like there is no hide for your little darling. Somebody will probably get stressed with no place to be out of site.
If it were me I would take out the drift wood, bricks and food dish. Maybe you can find something different to raise the tile (couple of pieces of wood?) and secure the tile to them. Then you will have a hide and basking platform. I may be overly cautious ... just my opinion. I am sure others will chime in with their thoughs.

I rearranged it a little bit before your I read your responses, but I think it works out better the new way.
I am just making sure I have a perfect setup and then I will caulk the tile to the stones just to be 100 % safe.
In my new arrangement she has more space to move around on the floor. So when I put her food dish in it will be on the "2nd floor" Also putting the food dish there would prevent some of the bedding from getting in the food. I also would like to provide her a small water dish when there is no food in there (not pictured, only in brain) just so she has something to drink and something to bathe in. Her big water dish is about a foot in diameter and I know that is quite large but as you can see SHE IS HUGE!
Once the lip sore has gone away for good I will add the recycled newspaper bedding or the aspen shavings that dont have as much dust in them.
HER HIDE: her hide is under the tile, you may have not been able to tell in the last arrangement but the entrance is more obvious in this picture and also the hide is larger. I will add a small cereal box in her hide area so she can hide even more.
She is plain view of my bearded dragons. Minkus, my male, seems very interested in her and has been keeping an eye on her ever since she arrived. She doesnt seem to mind. I dont really have a choice to the matter as of the arrangement right now, but when i get some more space I will make her visible to nobody but me.
My girlfriend and I are SO happy with Jazmin. She is so beautiful. I have always wanted a blue tongue skink and now I have her!! She is definetely one of the many loves of my life!
( I also have family, friends, great girlfriend, 2 Bearded dragons (Minkus and Zelda) with babies on the way, and a crested gecko named Winslow. Boy am I blessed!!)
By the way, she doesn't have nails, she has toes, just no nails.
Here are some specifics for the climate of her cage right now:
Current substrate: paper towel
Lighting: 100W Heat bulb and 15" Reptiglo 8.0
Basking spot surface temperature (taken with remote): 100º F
Large water dish temperature(taken with analog): 72º F
Temperature on opposite side of basking (cool): 75º F
Temperature under hide: 78ºF
Humidity near basking spot: roughly 62%
Is that to cold for her large water dish? I know they like to bathe or defecate in there once in awhile so would it be better if I put a heating mat underneath as long as it didnt make it TOO hot? Lemme know
More thoughts?
