I would have thought the Tiger Hissers would be a tad too big, but I guess I'm underestimating the power of Chuffer's jaws. I would figure the shinglebacks could handle them, with their big ol' shovel-heads!
I may try one sometime, but Tony got really upset when I used the lobster roaches as live feeders for the geckos, (he was terribly upset that the legs had been clipped off one side of them) so I don't really know if he could handle knowing that Chuffers might have eaten such a big roach!
I guess what he doesn't know doesn't hurt him. . .
and it sounds like it'd be good for my sweet LumpaChuff. . .

LittleFoot is the same way....he LOVES mice, but he refuses to eat black ones....i have to check them before i buy them to make sure they are only white ones...he is a weirdy sometimes.
I want to start raising hissing cockroaches, i am just afraid my daughter will get attached...she hide the wax worms so i cant feed them to anyone.

So you want to be a dentist when you grow up then
I find it hard to see how a relatively slow lizard would catch and eat, fast, highly alert mice in the wild.

And in the wild the mouse would have a fighting chance. It would not be fed and cared for and then scooped up, teeth filed and fed by it's keeper to something. But then again you guys already know how I feel about feeding live mice.

Your daughter sounds like a riot. Most kids hide Mommy's ciggys.
