Ive never seen one swipe with its claws, but I have been headbutted! and I have been bitten by all of my adult skinks (through gloves luckily) except one at one time or other. Possibly the worst pain I had ones one digging all of its claws in and sliding down my arm - just sliced the whole way down. Absolute agony. Thing is, they can be very hard to detach once they get their grip on! They can be quite moody at times.

Im currently looking at getting an import permit, as Im really doubtful that I will find any guaranteed silvers here in the UK...I will have to let you know what happens :)

Jo,

if you find one here in the U.S. that you want me to check out or even get for you first and then ship to you, let me know. It would probably be better to have someone over here that you trust check them out so if there's any problem they can be returned to the breeder more easily.

I'd be happy to help in any way I can -- just let me know.

(Maybe you can return the favor with some European Shingles in the future!) ;-) ;-)
