If it is happening all the time, that isn't normal...it could be a respiratory infection. Are there any other symptoms? Any discharge from the nose? Is the animal resting with its head raised and mouth slightly open or anything like that?
Can you describe, or better yet, take pictures of any of the symptoms you are seeing?

Occasionally though it happens. Is the BTS licking it's lips a lot? Has is just woken up? But if the bubbles are all the time, could be an RI, not good.

Cless - yes this is quite normal. Would i be safe to assume that it's only occasional? Respiratory infections are an issue, however if you have a well maintained enclosure you should be fine. Any chances of you getting a pic of these said bubbles?
I don't want you to be alarmed and thinking that your bluey has an R.I - so you really have a couple of options. #1 - you can take a pic of the bubbling (please get a good pic so we can see exactly what you are talking about), or #2 just go to a vet.
#2 is the safest option, as long as the vet knows about Reptiles.
How long has this been going on?
As Jasjmm27 said: "Are there any other symptoms? Any discharge from the nose? Is the animal resting with its head raised and mouth slightly open or anything like that?"
These are all good questions, and they can help us advise you some more, just don't freak out!

Yes, I apologize if my statements/questions were alarming...I just got done talking with a friend about Respiratory Infections (RI's) and was a bit freaked out myself...you just happened to post RIGHT THEN.
If the bubbling is only occasional and there are no other symptoms or odd occurrences, then there should be no problems...
Hope there aren't many other things going on. Please fill us in and post pics if you can.

You know, I notics Gargamel's nostril holes are not as round or as prominent as other Skinks. . . his are more like little slits. I wonder if that contributes somehow to his being a droolie boy?
(kind of like the little kids who are mouth-breathers because their noses are always stuffed up?)
Can Blueys have deviated septums?

Pryce is a mouth breather. He keeps his mouth open a bit most of the time. I don't know about his nostrils though, I'll look next time he's awake.

since we are talking nostrils...
Latte' (my baby) constantly works his tongue (and has since day 1.) He has stuff (looks like cat food) in his nose periodically but I don't think it really is food. (Never moist, no bubbles, etc.) Is this normal? My other bluey's nostrils never have anything wierd in them.
