small pits on scales all the way up their blueys body?

Not all the way up, he gets some on his face ,usually under the chin, where abouts do you mean?

Oh I just noticed that some of the blueys I have seem to have pits here and there on their scales. It's almost like scars that are healing.

Chomper had little dents on his scales and it looks like a little spot on his head where the scale sinks in(Similar to the soft spot on a baby's head, except its not soft just a dent) I don't see how he can have scars because he lives alone and I babyproofed every aspect of his life.

On the head the skinks have a "third eye" or perennial(?) eye. Don't know about the rest of the body though.

No but I've noticed dry scales on Sammy's belly. I even switched from carefresh to coco substrate but the dry scales are back! I just have to rub this moisturizing stuff on her to help with it.

Chompers belly scales got a little raised so I gave him a warm bath and then made a little humidity hide with a tupperware container and wet paper towels..and voila. raised scales gone. What moisturizer are you using on your skinker?

I can't say that I use moisturizers on my skinks, but their shampoo smells delightful :wink:

Pryce has dry belly scales, but hey, it's really dry here in winter. My hands are so bad. He's sleeping, so I just let him be, he doesn't seem to care at all.

it's not dry scales i'm talking about - it's moreso like they are scarred. but there is no way that they can be scars.

I use a shed aid actually. I've been looking for this Australian moisturizer everyone's been talking about but I can't bring myself to order it online.
