He's on some kind of basking rock, and they tend to flatten out their backs when they bask don't they?
well.. mine does.

anyway, he is stunning! i love that photo.. love the colours! especially how the brown stripes get lighted down his sides.

Slurpee looks flat as a pancake!
As soon as my blueys hit 'light' they do that too :lol:

Awww, Flat Skink! THey must do that to increase the surface area exposed to the warmth/sunlight etc.

My skink's back looks exactly like that most of the time. I'm a little worried about it, but he seems to be acting just fine.
