I gave homer a little bit of Apple with her meal yesterday and she only ate the Apple's. When Should I feed her Apple's again?

I'm not positive how I know this.

Thats funny - its Kira's favorite food too! If I don't cut stuff up small enough she will pick it all out and leave the healthier stuff. Its a good food, but not great so I'd keep it varied and give apple as a treat not a staple. I mix it in with veggies cut up tiny when I think Kira needs to eat more greens. :D

Any other skinks love apple out there? My other two eat it, but don't seem overly excited by it.

I use chicken or egg sometimes, but mostly I use live feeders because all mine like stuff that moves more!

If you aren't using feeders, a bit of boiled chicken, lean ground beef or boiled / scrambled egg are good choices. If you are using feeders, butterworms, silkworms, and phoenix worms are all good choices, but not always easy to find. Superworms are good and fairly easy to find but should be dusted with calcium powder.

Have you checked out the food list on the care sheet? There is a link to a word file that lists a lot of great food items.

My guy doesn't seem to care either way. The only thing I've actually seen him MOVE for are snails and fuzzies. ^_^

I mean, as soon as he sees the snail, all other food is ignored. So i usually have to wait until he eats some of his healthy food before I fish out a snail >_<

my guy seems to like oranges though ^_^

I think we are lucky, Peyton is a little hogger........... she will eat just about anything! she LOVES banana and I mix her greens in her meat or even in her banana and she gobbles it up. We have taken to feeding her on our lap and it is a riot to watch - she would eat the plate if she could - she has tried! LOL ! She like figs, any meat of cat/dog food, blueberries, etc. she has only had apple twice and l loved it - but it does to her what it does to the kids....... poo city. LOL!
