I think I'd go for a Kei Island
I don't have any experience with either of them (and my first is going to be a Northern) but I really like the Kei Islands too! They're gorgeous! Just make sure its the right one for you!
Good luck in your decision....are the parents coming around yet??

I've been feeding Kaylee in my hands so she can run after it! I don't like to feed her in her tank because I've tried aspen with her and it seems to get into everything. I know some of you swear by aspen but I can't stand it! When I change her cage she's getting carefresh like my other guys!!!

Jenn and Mike's babies are really cute, but for a first bluey I'd have to say Eastern for personality.

I don't know how you'd go finding a hypo eastern, did Ray have anymore
I thaught he bred them? or did he sell the parents or something? I might have to wait a while if I do get one but hopefully not. But ya my parents havent come around yet but they are getting better
But ya mabey I should have added northern to this too. so you guys can also say if you would prefer a Northern over those two also.
