Urgh. Ventress had some chest symptoms, which instantly resolved once we went to vet. Vet looked him over, listened to chest, looked in mouth, all fine. Advised to send off a fecal sample so did this and he has strongyloids. I'm mortified. I don't understand how he has got it, I'm so careful with him. Picking up medication tomorrow but any advise is welcome. Where have I gone wrong???? Has anyone else experienced this? I'm worried to death. And paranoid what if it's got in me somehow. What a nightmare. Feel like a terrible bluey mum right now.
He's got 10 days of medicine so going to clear all his soil out at 5 days, replace it. Then send another sample off after the medication.
Please someone have experience of this and put my mind at ease x
