Zach, couldn't you install a mod or something that lets people create polls where you can choose more than one option?

Probably, but using tons of mods can make it difficult to upgrade the entire forum, and they sometimes clash with each other. I've got quite a few mods on this forum, so I really shouldn't install too many more, especially one's that wouldn't get used very often..

There are a LOT of neat mods I wouldn't mind having! I'm only using the one's I thought would be really useful...

So far:

Photo album
Calendar
Chat room
Click main graphic to go to discussion forum (not really a mod tho)
Options for adding fields in the profiles (so people can name what animals they have, etc)

I have 4 or 5 others, but I can't think of them right now! Haha. Minor things though.

Oh yeah, the color thing that gradually brightens when you browse your mouse over a link is a mod (I'm thinking of removing it), and on Forum Index, when the fields turn a light color, that's a mod.

And the "grand total of posts" thing is a mod also!

Zach, I'm actually working on phpBB for my site based on art and creative writing and such...since my new host has cPanel and the works! :mrgreen: They also have YABB, which I somewhat like, and InvisionBoard...ugh...

Edward, there's actually a mod/hack for letting users pick a font color for their posts permanently. :wink:

I've used invisionboard, it's pretty similar (Steve uses it I know). Never used Yabb....I hired somebody to do all my mods, some are REALLY complicated, and I'm not very good at fixing PHP based stuff. :? (this whole site is done with crude handwritten html) :shock:

Isn't that amazing?!?! I think we should all take a momment to appreciate how COOL Zach is! I used website software to make my site and Zach STILL had to help me a lot. Sorry to gush, but I just think that is really cool. :ohyes:

Yeah, he's actually just a buddy actually.....his specialty is phpbb forums and coding...so I leave the tough stuff to him.

Thanks! Um, it's pretty easy! Go here:

http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/catdb.php?db=2

And download the .ZIP file of whatever you want to your desktop or wherever. Then, unzip and send the entire folder into your forum/templates folder so it's online...then you go to "Add" under Syles Admin, and there should be the template there waiting for you to install it...so install it, then it should be ready!
