I Love Shaun of the Dead. . . Great film!
Yeah, I knew exactly what you're talking about for blocking drafts, Lisa!

OK, so I've got the house set up like this: Black posterbard in every doorway and in front of fridge/stove, with flour sprinkled on it ( footprints. )

two cages with crickets in them, with ramps leading into from above. I'm gonna just chill and wait it out.
Thanks again for all your help and support, and Fatal, good luck with Cow.

Heating pad on very low, underneath towels (use a temp gun to check for about 80'F), a box with a hole cut in it on top of the operation, leave it in the corner of the room. I caught my leo Yuri that way a few times after I left the lid open on his vivarium. It took about a day or so.

heres something used with corn snakes might work for zeek
take a paper tube from inside a paper towel roll blockone end with a secure but removable cap and hot glue in a inverted cone (cone facing inwards) to the open end make sure that the hole in the center of the cone is big enough for his body to fit through. try putting a small amount of moss in the end fartherst from the cone. with snakes they go in and cant get out also put the opening towards the top so he cant just climb right out. place the setup against anywhere where floor meets the wall.
supposedly p.v.c. piping also works for this. and make sure to check the trap once or more a day. hope this helps and goodluck

excellent suggestions, you guys! I'll try those as well, thanks!
The scary thing is, I'm not finding any footprints or any evidence of her in the house right now at all!

Well, if she has become too cold she might have trouble moving.. so i think having a good hunt around the house might be a good idea, behind and under everything.
Really hope you find her!

Thanks Diane, and everybody who has been hoping and advising and pulling for Zeek to come home. . .
UPDATE:
Zeeks been missing for a week now. It really isn't that terribly long when you think about it, for a herp, its just that I really really miss her chubby fatness.
I miss watching her hunt crickets and roaches, she waggles her fat fat tail like a tiny insane cat then she pounces. It's so ridiculously cute. :)

Still absolutely no sign that she's anywhere. No evidence of footprints in any of the flour I've got scattered around. Tonight the house will get the once over and I'll try pulling out the Stove to see if she's under there.

Naughty Free-range Zeek!
I'd be stoked to even find a turd somewhere, just any evidence that she's still around.

There are also some suggestions for finding lost lizards on the carepage if you didn't see it. Good luck...
