i know what u mean by to much ball chasing lisa,well my heeler grew up with another boy heeler a week older,so the other destroyed all the tennis balls so my heeler chased anything else,coke bottles,shoes,basketball,after popping it og course,and they go so hard after it,im not supprised they struggle these days,and i can admit it,hes my baby,lol cant imagine not having him around,thanks for sharing the pics,of scaleys and fur balls,all lovely specimans

Yep, Diesel was tonka tough in his day. He once caught one too close to a colourbond fence and left the biggest dent in it. He hit the deck, got up after about 5 seconds, had a shake and brought the ball back for another one. He's lost teeth, toenails, fallen off cliffs, into dams and down a mine once in pursuit of tennis balls and always came back for more. Took a lickin and kept on tickin.

..But take him to the vet for his shots, or heaven forbid the vet wants to look into his mouth or ears or touch his feet and he squeals like a baby.

He's the stubbornest bugger you could ever know, too smart for his own good, makes you want to tear your hair out most days, will only do things if and when he wants to, hates everyone especially men. But he's all mine

awwwwwwww,your protector,sounds like your his,haha,thats what my boof thinks,take him to vets ect and he doesnt squeel,hes a growler,and gives the look,he used to do the same thing,if u threw him something to chase,everything else didnt exist,even other dogs,he just ran through them,lol

I kicked my heeler mix in the head once with steel toe boots while playing soccer with him, (by accident of course). He just grabbed the ball and ran away with it.

lol,i have to admit ive done that a couple of times with mine to,he tripped me up more though,if i didnt kick it quick enough,he got tired of waiting and bulldozed his way into it,its funny playing soccer with them,hard to keep it off them for long though,i can trick once,then he susses it ,does the old concentrate on the ball,he never gets sucked in to pretend kicks,always waits till it leaves the boot or hand if u throw it,amazing dogs
