(I am now assuming, more and more, that he IS a he...)
I would like help identifying my BTS and another at a store.

Now your just showing off Zach! Hehehe, well I hope I can get a mate for Fenix that can get some youngins a bit closer to Sunny's color! Love the banana yellow...but Fenix's "tuxedo look" gets me every day (when he decides to come out)!

Yes, I think so!
At any rate...is there a good population of Bluey breeders up in Oregon? I love the area and enjoy some summer visits to the Oregon/Washington area... Plus, I have family in Portland!

Stud or Big Mama, Sunny is still a STUNNER! Do you know Sunny's age? How big is Sunny? From the banana picture, looks like about 18-20" total?

Yeah, he's about that long -- he's young, probably around 4-5 years. We call him "Sunnyboy" all the time, but I'm thinking more and more that he's a she! Styx, help!

Oh, Oh! Hope Sunny is a Sunnygirl! It would be nice to see her little skinklets some day! Her color is amazing! You know, I was thinking...the only real way you can sex a female is by behavior observation, correct? They don't have anything like the sperm plugs of males...right? I think Fenix dropped yet another plug today!
Closer and closer to being "sure" he is a HE.

When they drop a plug, that's should make you pretty certain you have a boy. And females don't do any female things, just act girly.

The only bad thing is that males shouldn't be dropping plugs right now....mine haven't in quite some time, of course, they've been on the same schedule for years....
But yeah -- Sunny's behavior is really all I have to go on, and if the original owner didn't guarantee male (he said HE popped him!) then I would certainly be saying female by now.
Sunny was out last night and fell asleep on my chest for over 4 hours!
(He's the most skittish)

Yeah, it would.
I don't think he had much experience with BTS but said he had a knack for popping reptiles. Who knows -- I hope I can find out definitively sometime soon. But my experience points to female thus far, and it's been quite a while.
Since we found out that Styx is male, we'll have to see if he takes to Mama...or are you trying them, dt? And if he does....sunny too!

I'm going to try, but my guys aren't cooperating on the whole brumation thing. Kei Kei is down for the count, but Styx has stopped eating completely and still comes out to bask every day. Nona is somewhere in between and Sprout will still eat when I offer food, but I've only been offering food every 1 1/2 to 2 weeks to try to get him to go to sleep! Their lights are on from 10am to 5pm at the moment...should I just feed Sprout and let him stay awake, should I feed him more? Grr.
