Why do some dog owners think/say "Its alright he's being freindly" to you when you give them a dirty look, because the stinky dogbreathed barsteward has rubbed hair all along your clean clothes, or shook fur in your pint, or jumps up to the car window and puts scratch marks all down the door  Why do some dog owners seem to lose there sense of smell, an old mate of mine got upset when I went to his house and left wretching after 10 seconds
MMMmmmmm... Something???????

My dogs don't behave as a I want them to but that is MY FAULT. Come visit K WIsE - families develop and not always the way we plan - we let things go and stuff up along the way. But my dogs will not annoy you. I never scream or yell, but I have negecleted their training since getting a small dog after losing my 2 shepherds.

Live and let live and if someone comes to your home and they don't like it .. I do what I do to make them comfortable and if they don't like it ... well ... it's MY family and we are very happy!

Some people can be so horrible to animals.

A friend of ours (Brock) who runs the local herp supplies shop has just adopted two BEAUTIFUL shingles that just spent three months with a carer. Both survived the bobtail flu. One was seized because the last owner was keeping it in a sock drawer. The other had stab wounds of some sort, I don't know how it got found. The one that had been in the sock drawer was on the verge of death when it was rushed to the carer.

Now three months on, they're glossy, healed up and beautiful. Not exactly chubby yet, but getting there. They're both males. The one from the sock drawer is Sad Sam, and the one that got stabbed is called Big Mac. Sad Sam still has a bit of a crusty eye, but it's healing.

They're so loveable. We got to meet them at our local herp group monthly meeting, where the carer passed them on to Brock. Wallflower Girl got to hold Sad Sam, and she fell in love there and then!

Brock's going to be giving us some before and after shots of them, and giving us more detail about their stories. Then I'll be able to do a proper post, showing these two miracle boys!

My dogs are not allowed to impose on other people at all. I had, and will have, GSD's again, and complete control is essential. I have been lax when I got my Cocker Spaniel but not to the point of him smelling and being a menace to others. Bodily fluids, taking food, humping legs and all that behaviour is absolutely not acceptable.

When I say I have let it go a bit - it means, Taj won't come with the crook of my finger and sit there until I say he can move - NOT that he can throw his spittle on every-one and eat food off the table.

I think we are talking about different mercury levels.
