Great ideas about the cloth towels. I'm going to give her those instead. And Jenn....good idea on the shredded paper towels. I can tell she is uncomfortable not having something to hide under. She was really trying to 'mess up' her paper towels last night and wasn't very successful. She liked to sleep buried under Carefresh in her hide.
As for having a flat surface, I don't think Darling has any trouble if the terrain isn't flat. If she has an easy route to take, she takes the hard one instead. She likes crawling through and over her plastic plants instead of around them. She gets around great and doesn't appear to be in any pain at all.

That's made me think, I've broke quite a few bones in the past and it was major pain until the cast was put on, I'm hoping for you that Blueys have similar feelings,and that its muscular{I've torn a few muscles too}as its not as painfull moving with a strain/ripped muscle as it is with a broken bone/bones.
MMMmmmmm... Something???????

It sounds like she could use a warm bath for both physical therapy and to stimulate her bowels.
Talk to your vet about how to manipulate her rear legs and start her on a P.T. water treatment. Good luck!
