I find it extremely difficult to get a tongue shot from Santos. Any photo of him actually, because he never sits still enough to take a good one.
Here's a couple of my poo's tongue shots:

This one's just a teaser, really!

Kristy, do you find it weird to hold and touch them? I still haven't got used to Santos' bumpiness and how he's really solid and not slinky like bluetongues

Ohhh man,
Tony will kick me out if I bring home another lizard. . . but I really love those stumpies! (Hoooooooowdy Hooooohhh!!)
How am I gonna save up $3-4000. dollars?!? We really need someone breeding them here in the states!

Kris, if you wanna re-name Rocky, you have my blessings! (Great minds think alike? or maybe we're both just sick! :D )

So what colour are their tongues anyway? Does anyone have a Stumpie Tongue shot? :D

Yep, very dark, almost purple, and much smaller and narrower than a bluetounge's.

General consensus on here is that they do look like Hanky's! If the December theme for the calendar contest is Christmas, I have a nice little santa hat just perfik for the job

Hey Lisa,
They feel very weird and i love the way the scales can actually be moved. I thought one was loose at first then i realised they all move like that, lol.

I took them for a walk in the yard today and i actually found some small snails. Spike wouldn't eat one but Rocky did and little Bronson my bluey ate 2!
Spike loves his greens though, he picked out the beans and peas from their meal today.
I can't believe they cost so much in America....Sallie i got both of mine for $170.

Lizzie was a good bargin then. Gotta be in the right place at the right time coz sometimes you can get great bargins as people part with their animals for many reasons.
