Bubba looks like a good buddy to sit and watch some Football on the weekend and drink some beer and eat some pizza!

Have you had any verification that Bubba is a male? Plugs, exposed parts, etc.?

No, I'm not 100% certain he is male. I've never seen exposed parts. I once saw what I think might have been plugs, but never saw it again. As you see, I use aspen bedding so it is difficult. And I don't go out of my way to look since I don't breed at all. I also have no other blue tongues to compare behavior. Every spring, though, when he awakes he refused to eat for a good six to eight weeks. I hear that is typical male behavior...
I would welcome educated guesses, though. :)
