Wild Bluey Reject Photos

Postby Scotts1au » Fri Apr 04, 2008 7:44 pm

Hi all

I took my blueys on a photo shoot around the garden for the comp but realised that I can only enter one photo in the comp so I figured why waste them why not post the rejects.

Also I imagine that there are other people out there in the same situation so why not start a thread posting the reject photos.

My idea is to only post photos at the recommended size for the comp and also not ones that are the same or similar to their entry to the comp. Don't want to give the game away!!!!

Here goes some photos to start.

Where's Wally?

Shutup, act natural, this Turkey has a camera!

I told you I'm going free - NOT NEGOTIABLE! (Liz)

Hope you enjoy :-)

Great photos. That last one in particular! Looks like there's going to be some serious contention this month...

Haha - those are great tongue shots!!

I think this competition is a little early, because its still too cold here in Canada to be getting many 'wild' shots. Hmm... Fatal should know that!

Anyways, nice pics! I can't wait to see what the good ones look like. :D

Holy smokes, Scott! These are excellent.

I'm tempted to turn the competition into a more natural contest each month. I think more people will enter, and it will make the month's picture more pleasing to look at. Hmmm....

Can't wait to see your actual entry, geewiz....

Those photos are great. I love the last one and the 3 blotchies. Can't wait to see all the entries! The natural contests always get such a great response! I plan to have several like that this year, tossing in some other themes sometimes for fun.

We had a +9C day yesterday, so hopefully in the next week or so I can get my guys outside for a photo shoot. They may however still see melting snow. And I figure if I can manage to get my guys outside for pictures, anyone should be able to.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I was perplexed cos all the photos seem to be about the same quality, just went with a popularist choice for my entry.

9C wow into the positives :-). I'm complaining about 24C. :-)

Lets see some wild Northern photos.

Great pics Scott!

What camera do you use? The backgrounds seems to always be blurred out which makes our eyes focus more on the main object *blueys!*

Love it!

I also use a Nikon camera for photography.

So you take these pictures and get them developed and post them here or?
Is it one of those digital Nikon cameras that you just transfer to your pc.

Lol sorry for all these questions, but i love photography

Haha - here is a picture of our 'natural setting' in the backyard, taken this morning. It was getting up to about 4 degrees, but last night everything went downhill. No blueys in this picture, but we will definitely enter this contest at a later month. I can't wait to get everyone outside!

Snowed on us last night too -.-' Thing is, even at +5C, many Winnipegers are running around in t-shirts ^.^ Actually, we started to see t-shirts when it was still -5C! The cold obviously manages to damage the brain...
