June contest theme

Contest theme for June 2007: “Bluey Flower Power" Deadline to submit pictures: by Sunday morning, July 1st


New rules please, please read the following submission guidelines!!! Following the rules can make the difference between me spending 10 minutes or over an hour putting the contest together. :D

Submission info
1. Email only (do not post or pm your entry) to Kelly at: herpcharmer@iquest.net You will receive a confirmation email once your entry is received
2. It is no longer necessary to resize your photosbefore submitting to me. However, it is still best to take your picture at the largest size you can . In case you are the winner, your picture will look better on the calendar if is larger versus small.
3. Include in the email your forum name, bluey name and a short title (title optional)


Rules
· Contest is open to all members of the forum.
· The member submitting the picture must own the bluey pictured.
· Only 1 entry per member each month. One entry per bluey each month
· For members that own 3 or more blueys, each bluey is only allowed to win 1 time a year. For members that own only 1 or 2 blueys, each bluey may each win no more than 2 times a year (different picture). After that they may no longer enter until the New Year begins. They may still participate by posting pics fitting the theme in the contest announcement thread, but their picture(s) will not be included in the contest voting.
· No commentary or photo editing (unless the particular contest theme allows for it in the rules) such as adding images/wording, altering colors, etc.

Prize
The winning entry will entitle the winner to receive their picture on a magnet (courtesy of Zach. The winning picture will also be shown on the main page of this website and featured in the 2008 BTS.net calendar (1st place pic will be the large/main picture with 2nd & 3rd place winners will appear as smaller inset pictures).


Post any questions/comments about the theme in this thread, but do not post your entry. All eligible submissions will be posted with a voting poll (yes, you can vote for yourself) within a day or two of the submission deadline.

* Also feel free to email any contest theme ideas you may have – no matter how crazy!

Well I guess I could rustle up some flower fakies, and the lizards are much easier to pose when it's cold! Failing that I could pose them on top of Conor's 'Greatest Hits of the 60s and 70s' CDs. :dead:
I've been looking for a reason to get one of the lizards to poo on them and ruin them for ages :lol:

No, that's not finished. I'm still accepting entries and the mods need to narrow the selection down as well. I haven't gotten many pictures - especially of IJs (considering how many members own) and only Renee and I have submitted Meraukes (hint, hint...Zach!!!)

I had an idea in mind...
So naturally, the weather's turned freezing, it's like 16C - or 60F in the old scale - I'm wearing gloves and beanie and scarf in the house (Conor's in just shorts :roll: ), I haven't seen my blueys for 3 days now and this is forecast to go on for another week :cry:
I think they've all finally gone to sleep. This was the last pic I took last Friday I think it was.
