Freckles Bright New Skin Pics

Freckles just finished shedding this morning, so we got out in the sunshine and took some pics. I "thought" we would try for some flower pics but I think I'll need a couple hundred more to find one I'd think was good enough to enter in a contest. :roll: But here's a few we took today.

"Hmmm...where was that dried up dog poo?"

Freckles is such a photogenic skink. You'll have no problem getting a good contest photo. In fact, any one of those would do quite well.

I wish I hadn't been so sick right before he shed. He was the freakiest color. He was all pink and gray. He looked like a ghost skink. :shock: But it was short lived and I didn't even get a pic of it. :doh:

Of all of the blue tongues I have seen on this page since I've been a member, I think Freckles is in the top 3 for the best looking. I just love her colors. Beautiful!

She is gorgeous...I am so envious of everyone's tongue shots....I have yet to get one of LittleFoot, I have dozens of him closing his mouth though. :?

Thanks Russman for the HUGE compliment! There are so many pretty ones, I think I'd even have a tough time saying she was in the top 3. Nah, probably not, but then I'm "mom". :lol: Funny thing is, we bought her as an "extra" when we got our first, and she's actually the stunner of the two.

Littlefoot, I have a million of those too. I finally gave up "trying" to catch it and now I seem to get them more easily. Also I think I'm learning their reactions to noise, movement, wind. I'm getting better at timing it right. Outside their little tongues go wild! :D

Jeanne!!! It's so good to hear from you! I've been bad and not emailing ANYONE lately, been sick and blah. I see you've still got cages left. Might have to make another trip up your way. :wink:

Wings just shed last night, so I have to get some new photos of him too in the next couple of days.
