Mom, I really don't understand why you have to clean my cage after I went to bed!

Didn't Spike scare those silly Kittens off? Can't trust that boy to do anything right!

Clean Cage!

I guess this cage was worth waking up for.

Since I'm up, I might as well bask.

I hope Pryce looks as handsome as your guys when he's older. I love how you write the captions. The "Spike can't do anything right" one is amazing. Can't wait to see the rest when their cages are done.

That caption pretty much sums up Frankie opinion of Spike. She doesn't really like him. Which makes trying to breed them a little bit difficult! She is normally the sweetest of my skinks but you put her by Spike and she turns into a real witch!

Hey Jenn, Nice pic's! Are your enclosure all open or do you have a large gate or something around them? From the picture, it looks like you have a cage with a basking spot with no sides and lots more space all around.

With as many cats as I have, there is no way I could have an open cage! Spike and Frankie's cages were made by my dad. They are about 3ft squears. Frankies' cage was made first and is only about a food high. Spike's cages is about 18 inches high. The side are made out of plexi glass. The lides are two halves made out of screen. Because I was right there taking pictures, either both halves were off or only one half was on.

Frankie!

Are you going to keep trying to breed her until she yields to Spike, or will you give up on the pairing?

I didn't do it this past year because they would have breed just as I was moving and things were to crazy. They both cool themselves each year so I do plan to try again. Now that I've actually gotten a pair to breed and know what to expect I'm hoping I'll be calmer and they'll do better. Spike also has about 40 grams on Frankie as well as the extra length so I'm hoping she'll like him more. I haven't had them out together in forever so maybe she'll forget she doesn't like him. Next year I'm planning on the easterns again, the northerns and the keis.
