I have to agree with Pipa....folks who breed and keep expensive animals and choose to keep them in pairs is a completely different story than a newbie wanting to get two BTS but not two cages. The more experienced keeper knows exactly what he's doing, and how valuable his animals are. Once one is that experienced, it's his sole discretion. I hope that made sense....

. I have a hard time seeing something take it's first breath and then realizing it was someones lunch shortly thereafter. I would imagine in the wild most mothers would seek solitude to give birth as they are vulnerable during that time. Just my opinion ... probably should have kept the doornob comment to myself.
