Mites in substrate?
Having read another post on here about mites, I was wondering if any of you have had a problem with mites in your store bought substrate? IF so, what type and where did you purchase it?

The blueys in outdoor enclosures for example living on the dirt get a number of critters living on them - when I wash them on occassion there are a range of bugs that come off - most are tiny but do no damage and may even be beneficial like the bugs that live on your and my skin

That's interesting. I always wondered if anyone had a bug problem with outdoor enclosed blueys.
Nomad: Are the mites from the substrate still something one would want to definitely be rid of? I would assume so but after hearing Scott's post I wonder...
